RRFW Demo Server

This server demonstrates the look and feel of RRFW, the Round-Robin Database Framework.

The server platform and Internet connectivity is provided by Bluewin AG, a large ADSL provider in Switzerland. Special thanks to Christian Schnidrig for assistance and providing real-life router statistics.

Enter here and use login demo and password demo.

The demonstration consists of the following datasource trees:

bluewin
The tree reflects the data from a real router. The RRD files are periodically synchronized with those from production network monitoring server. The tree layout is slightly different from the standard, using the XML templates customly developed at Bluewin.
local
The tree shows two kinds of collector data. SNMP statistics of the demo server itself are displayed in the subtree "localhost". The subtree "random" consists of randomly generated datasources. Such datasources are used mainly for performance testing and debugging new features. Both kinds of data are collected by the same collector process.

Christian Schnidrig's Overview plugin is demonstrated here. Use login ov and password ov.

In this installation, we use the development snapshot of RRDtool version 1.1.0. It demonstrates such features as antialiasing, TrueType fonts, and Aberrant behaviour detection based on Holt-Winters prediction algorithm. Because of its development status, there may be some problems in text alignment within the graphs.
